Did and Regret
I cheated on my husband 5 years ago and never told him.
He has never found out and now we have 2 kids.
This eats at me every day and the guilt is killing me.
I cant tell him because he will leave and never forgive me. My children will lose their father and I will be alone.
Life sucks when you cant go back and change the past.

Forgiving ourselves : Forgiving our selves is the most difficult. Everyone screws up. You're only human, the important trhing is to figure out what you really want from life and proceed in that dirrection. to guilty wife : telling him will not change the past nor make it better. I think most of the time it is best to be honest but hun this is not one of those times. Forgive yourself. Maybe you were hurt, depressed ,needed love what have you. Confess to your higher power and give the feelings over to him. All we have is the present time.
