Did and Regret Confession

What is the way to forget this : by More by dews.drops@yahoo.com

Did and Regret
I am a girl in age group 26-28.I was in a party with office collegues yesterday. I was with 2 other female co workers of my age..rest were gents..
What I did and regret is I took a peg of alcoholic drink and what troubles me most is I was the only girl to do so.
in the country where I come from females arent expected to take alcoholic drink.
No one minded at the party..but next day..they joked to me about it and I felt as if million needles have been pierced through my heart.
It was an important party because the biggest boss was also present.
Initially my female coworkers showed readiness to take alcoholic drinks...i know very well they do take it ..but at yesterdays occasion they backed out..i was trying for the 1st time..so when they backed out i felt awkward thru out the party.
I know this isnt their fault...but this has impacted my confidence and concentration.
Writing this down has soothed me but only a little.

Nothing to fear. : You have done nothing wrong by having an alcoholic drink. You were bold enough to try having one, despite the taboos in your own country, however, this does not make you an immoral person, or something that you should be ashamed of. On the contrary, your action should be seen as a very sporting one, especially, when your colleagues did not stand by you. I see nothing wrong or nothing to feel guilty about in what you have done. As for the people who are joking about your actions are the real losers, for their narrow minded outlook in life and perhaps they are even envious of your courage to try and experiment despite all the reservations in your mind. by Anonymous Commentor on Thursday Dec 24th, 2009
