I don't think what i did was wrong but maybe others might think it is i have a friend that is involved with this girl the girl has a son that she did not raise and she just got him back after 7 years of someone else raising him just because she decided to have another baby and didn't want to seem like a bad mother by having a kid while the other was being raise by someone else anyway the problem is that this girl allows my friend to beat her son and he goes around telling the story to everyone bad move on him because once i found out i called the child abuse hot line and reported them and the abuse this child is going though i know this guy for many years but i just could not stand back and not doing anything they took the kid away and have him in a hospital i know that they will get him back because child protective service is fucked up and they really don't do there job but i do hope out of all this my friend will be afraid to hit the kid and the mother will not allow it any more.

Good job! : I agree with the poster above. You did the absolute right thing. Sometimes the right road is the hardest to climb. You're a Hero! : You are a hero, and you probably don't even realize it. You may have saved the life of a child. I know it couldn't have been easy for you to call that number. But you actually did it instead of just thinking about it which is what most people do in situations like this. If Child Services sends him back, it will be frustrating, but don't be discouraged.
